All Are Welcome!
Welcome to Grace Lutheran Church! We are a community of people that gather together to hear and share the Good News of Christ’s love and grace in our lives. We come together as a community to worship God in a meaningful way that gives us the encouragement and strength to be sent into the world in service to those around us in word and action. Our family invites you to come and join us in experiencing community in Christ, centered in God’s love and grace.
Come and celebrate “Fat Tuesday” with a traditional pancake dinner. This meal is being hosted by the Grace Sr. High group. The suggested donation is $6 and all proceeds will go to help support their trip to the ELCA National Youth Gathering in 2018. The menu includes a pancake bar, fresh fruit, breakfast sausage, and paczki! All are welcome to join in on this night of fellowship and fun!
A special thank-you to our students and adult leaders who took the time to participate in our trip to Chicago on January 21st. Our evening began with worship as we joined the people of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at Grace Place in the South Loop. Following worship our students met Pastor Ben Adams who introduced us to the ministries of the “South Loop Campus Ministry”. Our students helped to prepare chicken noodle soup for the homeless population in the area. We filled the cooer with hot soup and put it in our shopping cart to participate in the “Takin' it to the Streets" ministry, delivering the hot soup to all in need. Not only did we help to provide a warm meal to those in need, but we also engaged the process of building community. We engaged our neighbors in need in conversation and extended mutual hospitality to each other on the streets of Chicago. It was an excellent experience for all who participated, and we give thanks for the People of Grace whose generosity made this experience possible.
Come and join us!
